On 18 March 2020, HKT jointly organized a webinar with Kchuhai with the theme of “Going global with lower cost and higher efficiency – optimizing facilities management and connection to multiple clouds”. Insightful discussion was made focusing on the “HKT SkyExchange facilities managed network service ” and “establishment of high-speed and stable connectivity between major cloud platforms”. The comprehensive solutions will significantly increase the efficiency of network construction and utilization of companies and provide strong technical support for the going global strategy of the gaming industry in which he activity attracted 100 IT experts from game companies.
In the context of the Belt and Road Initiative, Chinese games have robust momentum to go global. Games with outstanding performance in China were launched to overseas markets, and proprietary game products designed for overseas users are more and more popular with market share and income is rising in global markets. According to the Report on Competitiveness of Chinese Enterprises in Global Mobile Game Market 2019 jointly published by joynews.cn and Newzoo on 11 November 2019, the proprietary Chinese online games recorded actual sales revenue of over US$11 billion in overseas markets in 2019, substantially higher than the US$9.59 billion in 2018.
